Helen Zarin Bio
Artist Helen Zarin was born in Shiraz, Iran in 1970. She began painting at the age of five, and studied with well known Persian artist Keyvan Saber during high school. Zarin's relationship with Saber was critical to her development as an artist. He helped her refine her skills and pushed her to create her own unique style. After enrolling in the Art and Culture Organization for gifted Persian artists, Zarin was able to win many national awards, gaining her wide exposure. Conditions in her native Iran compelled Zarin to move first to Europe and finally to the United States 1993. Zarin attended La Guardia Community College in New York City, and furthered her arts education at Catonsville Community College in Baltimore, Maryland. Helen has developed a large audience and following in the US, where she continues to paint. She is represented by several galleries and her artwork is in numerous private and corporate collections.
Boulevard Fine Art South gallery in Nokomis, FL feature Helen Zarin's artwork.
