Diane Boone Bio
A love of nature and all things botanical transform into colorful, intuitive contemporarypaintings. Diane Boone creates art freely from very personal memories, dreams and imagination. She finds great joy in the seduction of color and texture. Paintings are richly detailed, colorful and evocative creations using oil or acrylic paints, oil crayon, pencil, spray paint and collage. “My approach is not particularly intellectual or steeped in formal training. I prefer my mind to channel naturally without a pre-planned agenda” Born in Kansas City, she excelled in art. She studied at MU and The Kansas City Art Institute. She maintains a studio in Venice, Florida. Diane’s art has been exhibited for the past 25 years in galleries and hangs in privateand corporate collections.
